The Second Amendment is part of that promise, and it’s a reminder that liberty requires both courage and accountability.

At its core, the Second Amendment is about ensuring that citizens have the means to protect themselves, not only from harm, but from the overreach of a government that forgets its duty to serve the people.

It’s a safeguard written by those who understood that freedom must be defended.

When responsible citizens exercise their rights safely and lawfully, it strengthens our communities. It means families can protect their homes, ranchers can defend their property, and law-abiding residents can feel secure in their freedom.

That’s what our founders intended, not chaos or division, but the balance between individual rights and collective safety.

As sheriff, I’ll stand firm in defending your constitutional rights while ensuring those rights are exercised safely and responsibly. Law-abiding citizens shouldn’t be punished for the actions of criminals.
