Get to know me and the seasoned law enforcement professional who will serve as my undersheriff
I had the chance to join the Beyond the Flag podcast alongside Bloomfield Police Chief Phillip Francisco.
We discussed my work as an administrator at the San Juan County Detention Center, my years in law enforcement and corrections, and the kind of sheriff I aim to be — one who prioritizes community service, safety, department morale, and more.

I enjoyed meeting so many of you, listening to your concerns, and discussing the future of our county together.
One thing that stood out in nearly every conversation was the importance of safety — for our families, our neighborhoods, and our community as a whole. It’s clear that safety is at the heart of what matters most to the people of San Juan County, and it’s something I take seriously.
