Part 3: Leadership is Built on Experience

Leadership cannot be improvised.
It is built over time, through experience, challenges, and real-world decision-making.
I bring more than 28 years of public safety experience to this race. I’ve served in leadership roles within the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, and today I serve as the administrator of the San Juan County Adult Detention Center.
I understand the operations. I understand the personnel. And I understand the responsibility that comes with leading a public safety agency.
Experience matters because it provides perspective. It teaches you how to lead in difficult situations, how to manage people effectively, and how to make decisions that protect both deputies and the public.
Leadership is about building on a foundation of service.
I’m ready to bring that experienced, accountable leadership to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, and I would appreciate your vote on June 2.
