Safety isn’t built by force alone. It’s built on trust, connection, and partnership

Public safety shouldn’t just be about responding when something goes wrong.

Public safety should include working together to prevent crime BEFORE it happens. That’s the foundation of community policing.

When deputies take the time to get to know the people they serve, trust grows. And when the community feels comfortable reaching out, sharing concerns, and working alongside law enforcement, we create stronger, safer neighborhoods.

As your sheriff, I will make community policing a priority.

That means more visibility in our neighborhoods, deeper partnerships with schools and local organizations, and an approach that sees every resident as a partner in public safety.

Because real safety starts with real relationships.
