I am deeply saddened and sickened by the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk

Political violence is never acceptable! We must be able to disagree without resorting to hatred or harm.

Charlie Kirk worked hard to create an environment where open discussion and the exchange of ideas could take place, even among those who disagreed with him.

Civil discourse is the foundation of a free society, and it is our responsibility to model that for future generations.

Kelly and I extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Charlie’s wife, children, and colleagues as they grieve this devastating loss. We are also praying for all who witnessed this tragedy.
