There are two requirements for being sheriff

1. You must be at least 6’2” 

2. You must know how to milk a goat

Obviously, I’m kidding.

But I’m not kidding when I say how much I enjoy connecting with our community. 

I’ve been at the San Juan County Fair this week, and last night, I got to participate in a goat milking contest with Farmington City Councilor Punch Buck and Bloomfield City Councilor Scott Eckstein. 

Let’s just say, it was an udderly unforgettable experience.

I always enjoy taking part in community events like this — they’re part of what makes San Juan County such a great place to call home. 

There are only a few days left of the San Juan County Fair, and my campaign team and I will be at our booth the rest of the week.
